Inspection type 16 meant for Stability inspection process(Stability study).

Sandip,

Also 0800 is the insp type used when the stock is moved from Unrestricted stock to Quality Insp.

Suppose the material is not having any insp type activated other than 0800. So stock will be there in Unrestricted. Now when we move the stock to Quality Insp using MB1B - 322 then an inspection lot is created .

Sandip,

REM is repetive manufacturing. Since there is no prod order the in-process inspection is not created automatically as in prod order.

REM is not order based and a isnp lot is not assigned to a order. In REM you need to create inspection lots manually at regular intervals using transaction MFPR. For this type 13 insp type is required.

Hope useful.

Sandeep,

09 is for Recurring isnp of batches - i.e when the next insp is due (as maintain in basisc data vie of batch) then the lot will be created.

13 - is for in-process inps of REM material - when insp lot is created using MFPR

I am not sure about 0800 and 16. I'll let you know once I confirm.

Rgds
