SIS Information Structures determination

Anyone has idea how sap choose Information Structures in SIS?

Which step it use to choose which information structures should be updated or not?

Hi,

System updates the structures with the help of statistics group in info structures in the charecteristcs we have to maintain the statistics group then it willbe updated.

I would like to know, if I have serveral information structure, How system to determinate which information structure should be update, which one should not be update?

1.Create Info Structure:

Menu path: IMG/Logistics-General/Logistics Information Systems/Logistics Data Warehouse/Data Basis/Information Structure/Logistics Warehouse/Maintain Self-Defined Information Structures.

Click on Create.

We specify the Info Structure name (Between S501 and S999).

Specify the Application: 01 – Sales and Distribution.

Specify type of IS (Info Structure): Blank – Standard

Check Ping possible.

Press Enter.

Click on the “Choose Characteristics” option.

Double click on the “Field catalog” that we have created for the “Characteristics”. The list of field will be listed in LHS menu.

Select the fields by double clicking on them.

Click on Copy + Close and then on the Copy.

Then Click on the “Choose Key Figures” in the bottom RHS.

Again the Screen from the above gets displayed and double click on the Field Catalog that we have created for “key Figures”. Double click on the NetValue that gets listed on the RHS to select it.

Click on Copy + Close and then on Copy.

Assign Unit = 31 – Document Currency (WAERK) if it is not automatically assigned.

Check “Sum”, if it is activated then system accumulates the Key Figures values.

“Fix”: It is used if we want to fix the values of this key figure in the planning table of the Flexible Planning.

Save it, check it and click on “Generate”.

Go back, save it and Exit.
