could you please explain ur question a bit more.
as far as i understood ur question,language is the Standard SAP programming language and that is ABAP,package is actually a collection of objects .you create your package in SE80 and then use this package to keep all your objects together

Hi vamsi,
Language: Languages are used to develop packages, applications..etc (more over they are communicate platforms between human beings and system)
Eg: c,c++,,java, ABAP..etc
Package: These packages are developed by using some languages are used to fulfill specific goals for which they were developed.
Eg: MS-office, open office, mage maker.... etc

In what ever platform, the Language or package meaning is same.
Language in general, a low level system programming, which indeed uses syntaxes or OS commands internally. In SAP ABAP is the only Application Language.
Package, a collection of software tools or Programs, some thing like Wizards, what you need to do is just customize acording to your requirements. This is more or less like an EXE file. SAP is providing Add-Ons as package
