how we can we get the request number,(we are receive the basis persons)back ground have any process about this one. plz... give the brief ideas about this one, and how we can connect the client server, what is the name ( connecting the server) of the server.where is located .

Hi,

Request number is the one that is used when transport of object from one server to other server happens [Say from DEV - Qlty - PRD]

Objects saved as 'Local Object' will not ask for a request number, and hence cannot be transported

Check these Tcodes if u have access - se01,se09,se10 (Mostly basis consultants will have access)

U need to have the SAP Logon pad and enter the Client's server details in the logon pad to connect to the server. U need to know the application server, System ID and System Number for establishing connection.
