how to make use of ALEAUD for receiving acknowledgement

In a IDOC-->XI--> file scenario, how to get the acknwledgement of the message received by the Receiver Business System, by making use of ALEAUD in Partner Profile ?

1. Add the Following Setting in SXMB_ADM

ACK_SYSTEM_FAILURE of the RUNTIME category with value 1

2. Make sure that the File Business System / Service has a Logical System Name associated with it .

If step 1 and 2 are done, the AleAudit is triggered automatically from XI to R3.

we also need to configure a receiver IDOC communication channel channel for this,right?

to send the ack to the R/3 system

Ooops... forgot that step!

You are right, you need a Receiver IDOc adapter as an Additional Step under the SAP R3 's WebASABAP Business System.

The above guide is for IDOC ack,but as far as getting back an ack from File system is concerned,i m not sure if there is some straight forward way to get that.

Also the receiver file adapter supports system acknowledgments but not application acknowledgments.
