Testing Operation Mappings

Hi guys,

I would like to test some of my operation mappings with external tools. Therefore I wonder if there is an API which allows to test operation mappings via a web service call or similar.

I know that there should be some way to do this as we also have the possibility to import operation mappings into BPM processes on Process Orchestration.

Did any of you already do this and could provide me some helpful pointers?

Soap UI should help here, But I don't think stand alone testing is possible.

What is the exact purpose of testing the OM externally?
