Installing trial version of EP

Hi,

I have downloaded the "Sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver 2004 and 7.0 - Full Java Edition with SAP NetWeaver Portal " from the EP download section of sap-sdn .

Its a trial version for SAP-EP . It contains four files as below .

SAPNetWeaver04_SP16Preview.part1.rar

SAPNetWeaver04_SP16Preview.part2.rar

SAPNetWeaver04_SP16Preview.part3.rar

SAPNetWeaver04_SP16Preview_TREX6116P2.rar

But i don't know how to install them as they are in .rar format . Please tell me as to how should i open them i.e they should be opened in which format

and how to install these four files .Also tell me the serial order in which they should be installed .

If any tutorial is available regarding installing this "Sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver 2004 and 7.0 - Full Java Edition with SAP NetWeaver Portal" then please send that to me .

Hi There !

rar is just another File Compression Program.

you can UnRAR the files using winrar utility (same like winzip)

from here.

Just UnRAR the SAPNetWeaver04_SP16Preview.part1.rar

and there you will find the instructions on how to install.

Hi KL,

First UnRar the files with WinRar and save all the extracted UnRar files in the same folder.

Then you will find one index.html file which contains Pre requisites before Intsallation abt the supported versions of OS,JDK,Ram size and How to Install Documentation.

anyway you have to install first OS,then JDk,DB,Portal sequentially

During the installation it will ask for the name of the folder which contains the UnRar files, you just give that Folder name.

Its enough the installer choose the files automatically.
