Hi!

I have a problem when I want to startup the SAP System. Is installed on a Windows 2003 Enterprise with Oracle 9.2

I think that is a problem with the listener.

Here's the DEV_W0, SQLNET.ORA, TNSNAMES.ORA and LISTENER.ORA

Thx a lot for all you help.

Regards!

^^ i do not see any system specific content in the listener.ora file...how did you implement the network part for oracle? tnsnames.ora is empty" as well.....you have to apply data to these files - otherwise the listener cannot be started properly...

tnsnames.ora (example)

==================

<b>GDO</b>.WORLD =

(DESCRIPTION =

(ADDRESS_LIST =

(ADDRESS =

(COMMUNITY = SAP.WORLD)

(PROTOCOL = TCP)

(HOST =<b><your.hostname></b>)

(PORT = 1527)

)

)

(CONNECT_DATA =

(SID = <b>GDO</b>)

(GLOBAL_NAME = <b>GDO</b>.WORLD)

)

)

listener.ora (example)

==================

LISTENER =

(ADDRESS_LIST =

(ADDRESS=

(PROTOCOL=IPC)

(KEY= <b>GD0</b>.WORLD)

)

(ADDRESS=

(PROTOCOL=IPC)

(KEY= <b>GD0</b>)

(ADDRESS =

(COMMUNITY = SAP.WORLD)

(PROTOCOL = TCP)

(HOST = <b><your.hostname></b>)

(PORT = 1527)

)

)

STARTUP_WAIT_TIME_LISTENER = 0

CONNECT_TIMEOUT_LISTENER = 10

TRACE_LEVEL_LISTENER = OFF

SID_LIST_LISTENER =

(SID_LIST =

(SID_DESC =

(SDU = 32768)

(SID_NAME = <b>GD0</b>)

(ORACLE_HOME = D:\oracle\GD0)
