Error Installing SAPNW2004sJavaSP9_Trial sneak preview

Hello,

I am having problem installing SAPNW2004sJavaSP9_Trial sneak preview. Before I got this error, I got the error cannot create SAPServiceJ2E. In some forums I found that you may have to create this user manually so I created SAPServiceJ2E and J2Eadm user manually. I gave my own password as the system would not accept abcd1234 (default password mentioned in install). Now I get the wrong password error. Is there a specific password, I am supposed to use. If not please advise me how to get past this error.

Hi Raghu,

On which platform you are installing?

For EX: on windows and If you are installing in your companys environment follow the Windows Password Policy as per your organisation like First letter Caps,then alphabets then numerics and finally end with any special charecters etc.

Phani, Thanks for your response.

I am installing on Windows XP on local machine as local admin. I did follow the password policy required. The system would not accept if I don't enter strong password (Different Case letters with numerics/special characteristics). I created my own password (Ex: Sap07Portal*).

Is there a specific password that portal install is looking for.
