adm account for HANA Database is not working from linux

Hi,

I have tried to switch user from root to ADM user in HANA database but there is no response into.

please guide me into how to login adm account form root user , for your information we have used su - adm.

Hello Edukondalu,

The SAP OS user is usually called SIDadm not just adm, where SID stands for you instance ID, e.g. HXE for the HANA, express edition and therefore the user would be hxeadm.
