Hi

I am getting a similar error message, so was wondering if some more light could be spread on the matter.

You say the problem had to do with username/password problem ... which user was this for?

Our system config is such that SAPLogonTicket is used in the system config, so I don't believe I need to perform user mapping per user. Is there perhaps a service user which needs to be confogured somewhere?

Cheers,

Andrew

Hi

I have the same problem.

Installation has been made with BI-Template installer. BI_modeldata and BI_metadata connections are tested ok. All lights are green in supportdesk tool. Certificate in strustsso2 is also ok.

SPS is 15 on both ABAP and JAVA.

Any ideas?

You could setting the ABAP password to numerical only or UPPERCASE+numerical .

Hello:

The SP level between ABAP and EP need to be in sync! For example, if you are on SPS 12 in ABAP, you must be on SPS 12 in EP/JAVA. Please note that the BI SP level is ahead - BI SP 13 is included in SPS 12, but now BI SP 14 is available - so you can put SP 14 on if SPS level is 12. But - the BI sp level is the only special case.

If it is not simply a case of mismatched SPS levels between the different parts of the system (ABAP vs. EP/JAVA), you can troubleshoot further:

Run RSPOR_SETUP in ABAP and check the messages there. Also, see note 917950 - there are advanced troubleshooting techniques included (support desktop tool).

Thanks for any points you choose to assign.

Best Regards -
