Hi All,

I am facing the issue while reversing the settlement from the AUC(Investment measure) to Internal order.

The scenario is as following -

Cost from internal order is settled to AUC for the previous year but the AUC is not settled to Asset.

In AUC one of the depreciation area is not active ,so need to reverse the cost from the AUC to Internal order in previous year for which the business books are already closed and then transfer the to new AUC which all Depreciation area active.

Can anyone please guide how to transfer back the cost from AUC to Internal order.

SAP has provided the following note but not able to download(note incomplete).

SAP Note 2397593 parent note

140672

SAP Pilot Note 424139.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Abhishek

Abhishek - does the first resolution not work from the note?

"

Resolution

Check whether a cross-year settlement is actually required.

  • WITHOUT modification: SAP Note 140672 describes the options for settling costs from previous years:
Reposting solution with KB11N see note 140672 or
Settlement solution with creating an additional settlement rule of type FUL, 100%, receiver e.g. dummy order."

The other note says:

Workaround for reversal in another period/another year

As of Release 4.0, you can enter a posting period in the settlement which is not the settlement period. This allows you to carry out settlements and settlement reversals to later periods of the fiscal year. However, you cannot post to different fiscal years.
If you want to post to another posting period (Release 3.0/3.1) or another fiscal year, proceed as follows:

    1. For a closed period, use Transaction KB11 (Reposting of primary costs) to perform a primary costs reposting for the sum of the amount to be settled/to be reversed from the sender to a second object, for example to a cost center or a dummy order.

As of Release 4. 5, you can also enter a manual cost allocation (Transaction KB15) under a settlement cost element.

    2. Perform another reposting/manual allocation in the current period, and thus transfer the costs back from the cost center/dummy order to the sender. Overall, you have transferred the costs from the previous period which must still be settled or reversed into the current period.

3. The costs are now selected during the settlement in the current period.

The reposting sounds safest; good luck
