how to add two or more roles to one business partner?

How to maintain two roles to single business partner..ex i have created a business

partner ABC with role employee.i want to add one more role ex : contact person

to the bp ABC..will this be possible..and how?

I would appreciate if any one give me steps do this...

Hello,

1. In tcode: BUSE, create new group definition.

Mark this line and go to 'BP role grouping ->BP Roles' below.

Insert 2 or more roles you want to group (Emp + Cont.Prs).

Now in tcode BP you are able to see this new role.

2.If you want to hide one of this related roles you need to go to tcode: BUSD,

mark the role and go to details. Just select correct radiobutton.

You can also set the categories in witch role can be seen.

Hi Ravi,

Its very simple,

You need to go to BP transaction.

Select you BP and open its records.

Go to change mode if you are in display mode.

Select the role from the role dropdown which you desire to maintain for the BP.

Enter the required data for new role.

Save data.

Its a standard functionality.In the BP number from the drop down select XXX and create.

Hi Ravi,

Yes this is very Much Possible.

Go To BP Transaction, Put the BP number, go to Change Mode, and select the Role in which you want to extend the same same customer, update the relevant infrmation and save.

This will allow you to extend the same BP to differnt roles.
