Hi All,

I have a requirement to hide the logo when viewing the report in WEBI and the logo should show when I print the report.

I am using SAP BO 4.2 SP3.

Could someone please suggest on how to achieve this?

Thanks.

  • you could add an input control giving 2 possibilities: SHow /hide logo, the user can set it as they prefer

OR

  • you can schedule your report with admin user, if user= admin show report if user <> admin do not show
Show 5 Share

Hi Koen,

Is there a way with which we can set this as default without allowing the user to select the show/hide from the input controls?

When the user clicks on print, the logo should automatically show in the printed documents. Logo should be hidden when they are viewing the report in WEBI.

Thanks

without an extra step that is not possible unless you schedule it.. you can schedule it twice one with admin showing the logo and one with your user (not admin) showing no logo.. but to create this feature depending on the print button is not possible

Thanks for your inputs.

I gave the input controls a try, I created a variable and gave custom values as Show/Hide.

If([Var_Logo]="Show" ; then ??

Could you pls provide few more details on this to create a condition and help on completing this? -

Hi,

create variable

var_logo = "Show"

create input control

radiobutton -> values -> select "Show" -> type yourself "Hidden"

go to properties of your logo/cell

hide when: [var_logo] = "Hidden"

--> the values ("Show" and "Hidden") can be replaced with the text you prefer off course, just putting out the idea here

Thanks, but I am trying if there is something which can be written based on Ctrl+P function as a variable.
