Hi All,

I am trying to find out the Min and Max dates from the date dimension in my data set but I could not find the aggregate function to do that. I can see the below notes in Developer Guide for Lumira 1.28 which is what I am using (Desktop version)

https://help.sap.com/doc/businessobject_product_guides_vi01_en_lum_128_user_en_pdf/1.28.0.0/en-US/lu...

(Page 73)

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Thanks,

Anil

The way this works is as below.

  1. Click on the settings (options) icon from a dimension object (Date in my case)
  2. Choose Create Measure
  3. Notice the new object created under Measures section. This should default to Count(All).
  4. Click on the settings (options) icon on this new measure and choose 'Change Aggregation' and use the required (min/max) from here
  5. Rename the new measure as needed

Anil - please see this thread: https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3895484 - I don't know if it will work with 1.28 - if not, please try to upgrade to 1.31

Good luck

Hello Tammy,

Glad to see your reply. I saw the above thread you posted before posting my question. But unfortunately I could not find the aggregate functions as described above. I could see the dynamic text properties too in 1.28. I shall try 1.31 and see if that helps and update the thread.

Thanks,

Anil
