Dear PP Gurus

1)I created a PIR with (T Code MD61 ) with a quantiy of 50Kg , while iam running MD04 the quantity only viewing 38Kg with a Planed order no (xxxx) . I checked the Avail Stock and found 7kg . Can i know why this is happening?.

2)While iam selecting "Details of element" for the particular Planed order , the conversion Tab to Procees order isn't seeing( In Material master MRP 2 view is defined as (E In-house production)).

Can u please find a soln for this???

Hi,

Kindly i request you to follow the following steps for Strategy 52

In strategy 52 you can procure comp based on PIR and production of finished

products is based on sales orders.

settings:

In MRP 3 View strategy group 52 for fert.

individual / collective indicator 2 for components.

Flow :

1. PIR are created for fert.(Requirement type VSE)

2. MD02 / MD04

For fert planned order will be created with order type VP which is

not convertible.

Also Planned orders will be created for comp with planned order no /stck

production / procurement can be made with this planned orders for comp

3. convert planned order to production order/confirm and do MB31.

4. Create sales orders(Requirement Type KSVS)

5. This will consume PIR of fert.

6. MD02/MD04.

7. New planned orders will be created for the sales orders which is

convertible

8. Convert it into production orders and process is as usual.

What is the planning strategy used in the material master MRP3 view? the requirement type used when creating PIR? is the stock shown in MD04?

Please note that with planning strategy 52 the Planned order created for the material will not be convertible until the sales order is created for the material.

The purpose of plan strg 52 is that the component materials can be procured in advance.

So create sales order for the material. Then run MRP. The VP type planned order will be replaced by a convertible planned order.

Note: If i create Planed order Manually and iam running MD04 the conversionTAB is seeing( this happens while iam doing PIR & running MD04)

Hi,

Have you set the individual/collective indicator as<b> "2"</b> in the mrp 4 view.

Also check the other parameters to be maintained from the foll link.

Ragesh,

1. Planning strategy "52" will not consider stock for net requirement calculation.

2. <b>Planned order which is created againsts PIR cannot be converted as it will be of VP - type</b>.

<b>Once a sales order is entered in the system, PIR gets reduced for that quantity and this planned order gets deleted and a new Stock planned order of type LA is created after MRP run</b>.
