Creating a customtable and having a header in it as below requirement.

Dear Freinds,

I have a requirement where i have to create the Custom as below .........my functional is

saying that he want table as below

outpatient

employeeno

class

startdate

enddate

spouse

1stchild

2nchild

How can we create like this table having outpatient as heading

and a fields as

employeeno , class,startdate,enddate,spouse,1stchild,2ndchild

how can we create in a custom table..... i have never seenlike the above requiremnt.

Please suggest me how to create. I can send the Excel sheet where they have given the above requiremnt...... plelase any body can suggest me so that i can your personnel id's . Pleast a bit urgent.

Hi,

In this case you can create two ways.

1) Create one table with the OUTPATIENT as primay key.

2) crete the two tables one is header cotnains only one field OUTPATIENT and second is item table will all fields including OUTPATIENT.

i havent got your point what you are trying to say..... please could little bit more

you ellaborate..............because if i create two tables then what exactly i have to please tell me........if this scenario works it would be great help for me..........as i have 3 to more situations where i have to give like this.

Hi

In a custom table, you really cant create a header field and item field. You can only just create table in se11 and activate it.

However when you are showing the output of the table, you can show it as Header and details about the header. i.e. you can change the way the output has to look on teh screen

Points if it helps.

Hey could you please let me know how can i create the table ............and arrange in the SM 30 please suggest me. It would be great help for me.

i will give you what all the fields i have and for which fields i require the header

in my custom table

i have fields as follows

a)Insurance type char4 primary key

b)Insruance text type char30 nonkey

c)Class type char4 primary key

d)startdate type Datum

e)enddate type Datum

f)Spouse type char10

g)Employee type pernr_d

h)1st child type char10

i) 2nd child type char10

now my Client requirement is that they want a heading for Spouse,employe,1stchild,

2ndchild as...............>>>>>OutPatient

as they want in under heading outpatient --- like in his excel sheet.........

as per you we can arrange in SM30 .. please this is great help for me if you tell

me how can construct the table and arrange sm30................if iam able to the client and my FO will be very happy..
