Query Performance

Hi

Currently we are in upgrade process from 3.5 to BI 7..We are not using BI Accelerator..We didn't even install it..

Now what are all settings need to be done to increase query performance.

What are all the query properties need to be set..

Please suggest..

Teja,

First execute the query in RSRT - display stats and see the OLAP and DB times and then proceed accordingly , also look into the run schedule in RSRT to identify expensive queries...

Honestly? it depends on so many things, we can't cover that in this forum you'll have to do some research, there area few how-tos on performance on sdn that could be quite useful. Every setting is there to optimize a query in a specific situation, so everything can optimize your query depending on how it'S setup...
