SEM-BCS and CPM Topics

Hello Everyone,

once in a while I see questions regarding Business Consolidation (SEM-BCS), Corporate Performance Management (CPM), or Balance Scorecard. This forum does not really deal with these topics.

A better place to find answers and exchange ideas in these areas is the new CPM forum.

The ERP forum also deals with the latest SAP acquisitions of Pilot Software and OutlookSoft.

Could you plz help in finding out difference between SAP BPC u2013 7.0 and 5.1.

Hi,

Does anyone have any information on the availability of this EHP2?

I have an SAP presentation from 11 October 2007 in which it appears as though this will be available to customers on ERP 6.0.

This package will allow multiple period processing in the cons monitor...which is what we would like to add

I have searched everywhere, including url's in this ppt and can not find any further information (or the download)

hi marc,

i need a small help from you.i am uploading file into bps web,i followed your pdf guide.it is working fine.in my scenario,i had developed a screen design and in that i wants to incorporate the file upload functinality.when we generate the bps application corrsponding bsp will be generated and in bsp, the page design will be in the views not in the layout,here iam getting the problem,when i write the code in the oninputprocessing the below code is not responding,when i try to do change in the layout my original design is getting disturbed.my code is as follows in the oninputprocessing plz advice me.

Neither of them resembles me SEM-BCS (Business Consolidation) or SEM-CPM (Corporate Performance Management).

Is it I who became so stupid and don't see the obvious things, or we are talking about the completely different things???

Certainly, the forum is named as CPM, but the stickies ARE COMPLETELY OUT OF THEME!!!

Pracash and Craig, maybe you posted your stickies into wrong forum?

I'm not personally involved with CPM. It is positioned as an application and certainly more BPX oriented than "core BI". In the end the location of the forum doesn't make a difference, does it? It's just one URL away from here

It is overdue to create a new part "SEM". Even maybe with the seperate parts BCS, BSC, SM and PM.

Neither this nor proposed by you forum (ERP Financials) deals well with questions related to SEM-BCS and and SEM-CPM issues. Maybe it's time to have a separate forum for SAP SEM?

I agree. It's just a matter of time. I'm sure that soon we will have a CPM forum to go along with SAP's new CPM offering (Pilot, OutlookSoft, and former SEM components).
