I had read somewhere that now parking functionality is available (ECC 6.0) for purchase reqs. If anyone has used it, I would like to know if there is any config required for this and if there is any documentation available.
Thanks
Raj
Yes, I ended up creating first level of release with the buyer

Yes, I am talking about functionality similer to "hold PO". The reason I was inquiring about this is that the client was under the impression that the requisitioner can create arequisition- (hold status at this point) then someone from buyer's group would review this and that requisition would go thro' release strategy for approval. The workflow would not kick off until the buyer was done with the req.
My understanding was that as soon as PR is saved the workflow for release strategy would kickoff- unless some kind of hold was created with programming.
thanks

Hi,
I am not aware of any "parking" functionality for requisitions in ECC6?
What would you use this for anyway?
Do you mean a function similar to the ability to "hold" POs instead of saving them?
There are no extra options for saving reqs in ECC6.
there is a "blocking flag that is new, so the requisitioner (or someone else) can flag the requisition so that it cannot be converted into a PO until the flag is released? Is this what you mean?
