Error during double-stack upgrade 7.0 to 7.31: SET-SAFE-UPGRADE-MODE fails

Dear Experts,

we are running an upgrade of a dual-stack Netweaver system from 7.0 to release 7.31.

During Execution phase we ran into an error within the upgrade of the java part where SUM tries to bring the AS Java into safe-mode for deployment.

Extract from logfile "/installDV9/SUM/sdt/SET-SAFE-UPGRADE-MODE_*.LOG"

We found KB article "2126229 - Recreating the SecStore.properties and SecStore.key for 7.3/7.4 J2EE Netweaver Systems" but are in doubt about the solution because in the current phase we cannot launch the configtool. SUM removed all the jar files from directory "/usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS00/j2ee/configtool/lib"

Anyone who experienced this error already ?
