what is the purpose of transaction code MIGO ?

Hi,

MIGO tcode is used to prepare Goods Receipt for Purchase Order.

MIGO allows you to perform a number of different functions from one place so many of the authorization objects are left blank to let you maintain the appropriate values for the roles that have MIGO in. As it's feasible that 3 roles may use MIGO in 3 different ways, there needs to be the flexibility to populate the roles accordingly.

You can maintain SU24 to default in the correct values for your implementation, however if you do need to provide different levels of access then leaving the fields blank and updating in the role is the way to go. Your functional team will be able to tell you the correct values to use for the required control objective.

Hi

MIGO is the Tcode used to create a GOODS Receipt(GR) against a Purchase order

The GR can be created in so many ways

using MB01,MB11,MB1B etc

but this MIGO is against the PO

Against a purchase order , we get goods receipt
