How to keep track of rental objects in SAP

Hello,

We are currently using SAP release 4.7x110.

One of the projects which have to be started in the near future is to maintain rental objects so they could be planned, reserved, billed and traced if the object is in stock or rented.

Our first goal is to use a SAP solution if this is available. If there is no SAP solution directly available how could we use an existing module/solution so we could maintain the rental objects is SAP. If there is no solution we have to look for other solutions.

My question is, is there a SAP- solution to maintain rental object in SAP? If not could one of the existing modules used for rental object like MM, QM or PM? And what is the best solution?
