Can I transport batch customizings from one R/3 system to another system?

Customizing path is Logistigs-General --> Batch Management --> Batch Valuation --> Update standarts Characteristics this customizing step is excuting a program. So is it possible transport this customizing? It doesn't give any request.

Hi,

1 Defining Batch Level (Transaction OMCE)

2 Activating Automatic Batch Number Assignment (Transaction OMCZ)

3 Updating LOBM Standard Characteristics

Logistics - General -> Batch Management -> Batch Valuation -> Update Standard Characteristics or Transaction BMSM will copy LOBM standard characteristics from client 000. As client 000 would be different for Production system you would have to execute it once.

As you say there is no way to transport these customizing step from one system to another. The way is run the program. Am I right?

Hi

As the characteristcs are part of master data, u will not get them in to a transport request.

These standard characteristics are available in 000 client.

I believe you need to run this program to get from client 000 to ur current client.
