How to attach diffrent scale for qualifications within the same qualification group in PD

Nidhi,

Like Sharon mentioned, all Qualifications belonging to a Qualifications Group inherit the same scale -- infact, that is a precondition in Qualification Group/Qualification structure.

If your requirement is to attach a differet scale to a Qualification, you only have two alternatives:

ONE - Define a new Qualification Group with the relevant Scale and attach all Qualifications to that group

TWO - Define a Qualification Group under the existing Qualification Group, assign the required Scale (different from the master/main Qualification Group and attach relevant Qualifications to this group. In this option, you can have two sets of Qualifications under one main Qualifications Group (if it serves any purpose.)

Maintain the different Scale based on the Qualification Group QK.

The scale will be the same but you can surely change the descriptions.

Hi Nidhi,

In the standard system, the qualification always inherits the scale of the qualification group above it. To change this, you either need to create a subordinate qualification group with a different scale.
