Hi,
While creating new GL accounts I'm getting following message & system is not allowing me to config & create a new GL:
"No PVIKIL statement account type is defined in chart of accounts viki"
Pls guide me.

go to obd4 (account groups) then creat account group and creat account in fs00 and define retained earnings account 0b53

Call transaction OB53 & define your retained Earning Account.
you need to maintain OBD4
with the CoA and the account group.
