Hi,
Say I have added a new Class in my Package and want to provide it to the Customer via a SAP Note. Will implementing the Correction Requests automatically create the Class for the Customer?. Or should I mention this as a manual step like providing the name of the class and asking the Customer to create it and then apply the Correction Instructions. How does this work?.
Kindly let me know.
Regards,
Praveen

Hi Praveen,
Are you with SAP?
The note creation is a SAP's task. If you are with SAP and working on some note then the correction istructions should automatically create class.
Reward points if useful.

Hi Atish,
Thanks for that quick response.
Yes Iam with SAP, but actually wanted to double check if the Corr.instruction will infact create the class automatically. I thought it was a manual activity. If you do it via Snote then will it take care to see the object is created?.
You have prior experience in this?.

Praveen

Hi Praveen,
Yes you are right the correction instructions can't create the class. Sorry for earlier thread.
You have to put that in note instruction the detailed step as how to create class and with all the details such as description etc.
Also make sure that the key for creation of the object should be there in the note.
If it is customer spcific note then give the intructions as to get the key etc.

Hello Praveen,
The answer is it depends 😃
IF you make your correction instruction for Note Assistant 1.2, you will have to describe how to create the class manually.
If it's for Note Assistant 2.0 il will be created automatically.
(available for releases based on SAP NetWeaver 2004s and higher, SAP NetWeaver 2004 as of Basis Support Package 13, SAP Web AS 6.20 as of Basis Support Package 55)
