Strange result!!!

Hi all;

Executing a fox i’m getting a strange result.

Just with the planning area filtered I’m trying to copy the KF % to the KF Amount:

0AMOUNT = ZOV_PERC.

The system reads the records but don’t fill the KF Amount.

Replacing Amount by Quantity the system modified the records. The problem is that the InfoCube assign the planning area I don’t have KF Quantity. 

Another test I did was replacing the planning area. Changing the planning area filtered in the level, the system executes the function 0AMOUNT = ZOV_PERC.

Any ideas?

Best regards;

Ricardo

Hi Marc;

I know it doesn’t make sense but this was just a function to test the problem. The final formula will be 0AMOUNT, characteristics = %, characteristics X 0AMOUNT, characteristics.

But by this order, if I fill the Quantity KF, I must also fill a Unit. Using the formula 0AMOUNT = ZOV_PERC or 0QUANTITY = ZOV_PERC, the Currency or Unit should be equal to the one used in ZOV_PERC (#, €,…).

I don’t use Quantity in the InfoCube because it’s assign to Costs (there is another one for Quantites).

I only tested because I’m using a multi-planning area and Quantity was available. 

Do you thing this could be a bug?

Regards and thanks in advance.

Hello Ricardo,

if you fill an amount key figure you should also fill in a currency. In general it does not make sense to store a %-value in an amount key figure.

%-values should be stored in a quantity key figure (with fixed unit of measure "%"). If your InfoCube doesn't have this key figure, why don't you add it?

Marc
