Installation SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial

Hello,

I downloaded the SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial (2 files with 1,2 GB each) and tried to install it on a VMware virtual PC running Windows 2k3 Server Standard Edition (plain install) with 1 GB RAM. This virtual PC matches all requirements.

The installation stalls at the step

"Configuring database. This step may take up to 2 hours. - Going to admin mode" at 47 %.

There is no CPU or HDD activity and this step already took about 4-5 hours.

There is no error message, it just takes so f***ing long. Am I doing something wrong? Are there any hints what to do? Or should I simply wait to eternity?

Do u have Network?If not please setup Loop Back Adapter...

Yes, I have a network. It's dhcp-based and the vmware-box got an IP.
