Application Component Hirerchy not found in the Test server.

Hi All,

I have the Application Component Hirerchy in the develpment server but in the test Server i am not getting the Application Component Hirerchy , I can only see the NEW_HIER_ROOT

I to through some of the links where they have mentaioned to use RSA9 and transport it or SBIW--> Business Content Datasources-->>Transfer Application Component Hirerchy........

but when i am trying to do that i am getting a specific error

Hi All,

It is already saved with a request but that request depend on a different requent ..

So when i am trying to save this then it is not asking for a request and also when i am transfering then also it is not asking for a request ,,

can i create my own request to transport the Application Component.

yes,

se03, change object directory enty, type in DSAA, in one last blank box (blow DTEL), and * in next box.

and mark the little checkbox in their front.

click execute/f8

in next screen will see tree objects - ... original system ...

expand the node.

cursor on APCO and/or APCO_MERGED, click change object directory; change the package, system will raise request.

se10, release request, and SMTS in QA to import the request.

to transport datasource, RSA6, display the datasource, menu datasource-object directory, change the package from $TMP to your package.

check ur dev sys .. u would have a transport that would contain ur component hierarchy (one created when u guys installed the hierarchy)... just find it and release it to QAS.... u would be back in the game

Hi,

Use Tcode RSA9 in DEV system. It will ask you to create a transport request. Create it and import it into QA. But you can not use RSA9 directlu in QA and PROD , because those system are generally closed systems.
