BUPA_MAIN bdocs are in error state "E01"(technical error)

Hi all,

While monitoring Bdocs using SMW02,we found around 28 bdocs are in Error state technical error (E01).Details are

Bdoc type : BUPA_MAIN

Error state : Technical error (incomplete) E01

Error text : Technical error occured: Service , BDoc type CAPGEN_OBJ_WRITE, Message Select for Update failed: Update error in table CDBD_BPTAXNUM: row SFA_TAXNU.

Could anyone tell me how to clear these bdocs.its very urgent.

Hi PV,

Is the queue in SMQR transaction registered??

Please let me know if you have written any custom Function Module fr the data flow.

This error will mostly come with the queues only. PLease check with smqr transaction.

I've checked in SMQR,all the queues are registered.

Why these bdocs are coming?How to clear?

Hi p.v.

I guess you are not using the mobile scenario? If you are not using it, please go into tx. smw3fdcust and disable the sending of BDocs to the mobile bridge (activate-flag -> consult f1 on the active and mobile column to see exactly what they do).

What happens is that the MW is trying to send the BDoc to the CDB database but there are some structures / data missing which leads to a technical error. By switching off this scenario you will not only get rid of these errors but also gain a bit of performance as you disable about 30% of the MW which is only needed to synchronize mobile clients.

One more thing: After the deactivation of the mobile bridge you can reprocess the erroring BDocs without problem.

Hi Kai,

Thanks a lot for ur quick reply.

Without deactivation of the mobile bridge,I just tried to reprocess the bdocs and the bdocs are gone to successfull state.

Any idea how come ?
