Sandip,

I thinkthis was created by someone. Only for 01 type inspection (GR from pur order) extensions are possible so that each insp type could be assigned for different external processing operation.

03 is for in-process inspction. We cannot assign different insp types for different operations. Looks to be a fake type created..

Sandeep,

What is the Task list usage of this insp type. Check in customisation SPRO>QM>QI>Insp lot creation>Maint insp type.

Generally we only have 0110, 0120, 030 etc..These type when attached to task list type 53 then they are meant for GR from ext processing.

In routing we could attach separate insp types for each external operation. And maintain

The first 2 charc 01 refers to insp origin. The 2nd 2 digits refer to the operation number. Then we could have different inspections types for different external operations.
