while creating the material master in( basic data 1)there is field base unit of massure,i am not able to see that field ,i found there blank space i think sombody has removed that field or supress that field ,

can any body tell hw can i get the same filed in material master (Basic Data 1)

Hi,

Go to T-Code OMSR, click on Field Name and enter MARA-MEINS. Yo can see the MARA-MEINS is on top list, click on Field selection maintan (in green button), another screen will open. Again double click on MARA-MEINS field and search for MEINS field, it is hide there, just make it Reqd. entry.

Hi Alok,

Check in IMG (SPRO) under

Logistics General -> Material Master -> Field Selection -> Maintain Field Selection for Data Screens

In this IMG activity, you create and maintain field references. You can see where a field reference is used by choosing Where-used list.

Activities Define or change the field references as required (except for field references with the prefix SAP which must not be changed). New field references must begin with Y or Z.

Changing the Field Selection Options for a Field Selection Group

1. Specify the field selection group.

2. Select the field selection option (hide, display, required entry, or optional entry) for each field reference as required.

3. Save your data.
