PPDS Planned Order

Dear All,

How to find out that planned orders are system generated or they are manually created. As i am having problem as future orders are showing as an PPDS orders which are outside the production horizon maintained for the material..

Please help

But, Hoe can we differntiate between PPDS planned order in APO and planned orders created in R/3.

For the same product you should not be creating planned orders both in APO and R/3. Hence your question does not rise.

However check the APO application field in the Planned Order details in APO. It shows the application where the planned order is created (like PPDS, SNP). You can check what is the value for a R/3 created planned order CIFed to APO.

Dear Somnath,

As we need to delete unnecessary PPDS planned orders, for that we have used SE38 thr program and deletde the same from APO, But later we realised that program in SE 38 didnt have option to delete from R/3. So

So through CCR we CIFED back in APO.

Now we want to delete them using trancation /sapapo/rlcdel. But it does not select any PPDSplanned order while it appears in product view when we cheak..

Hi Amol

Pls understand onething here, The planned order created in PPDS during planning run are with APO number range and then thr the active inetrgartion model the planned orders are transferred to R3 and then planned order nos gets replaced with R3 no.

What you are seeing in APO is R3 planned orders nos.

If you want to delete the planned order, then Planned orders can be deleted in R3,and accordingly it will not be seen in APO,

Hi Amol,

Is your requirement same as the requirement for Sunil.

Please note /SAPAPO/RLCDEL DOE NOT delete or identify PPDS orders. It is only for SNP created orders. So it will not delete the PPDS created orders or Orders from R/3.

If you want to delete all planned orders for a given location product in APO which is CIFed from R/3 you can deactivate the appropriate Integration Model, run Delta Report for the corresponding location-product which will display all the orders missing in R/3 (since there is no active integration model) and thereby propose deletion from APO.

Hi Sunil,

There is no direct way to find out if planned orders in APO are system created or manually created. However system is not going to create PPDS Planned Orders outside the PPDS Horizon. Also if any planned order is manually created then its in Fixed status normally (unless planner manually removes the Fix flag).
