Dear All,

Please guide me about PP - FICO Interation,for that what configuration I have to carry out.

Please guide me for the same.

Vijay,

For PP-CO intergration the following parameters which are defined in the order dependent parameters are required:

1) Costing variant - planned and actual.

2) Costing sheet

3) RA key - This is for WIP calculation

The customiation of the above parameters are done in Controlling by the CO person.

Following are the imp ones:

<b>Costing variant: Transaction OPL1</b>

Key that specifies which costing variant is used to determine the

planned costs.

The costing variant refers to a valuation variant. <b>Transaction - OPN2</b>

The valuation variant

o combines all the parameters for evaluating materials, internal

activities and external activities in preliminary costing

o determines which calculation schema is proposed for determining the

overheads for production- and process orders.

2) Costing sheet - Transaction - Under overheads in Prod cost Planning in CO.

3) RA key: <b>Trans: OKG1</b> - specify the RA key.

- Define cost element

- Define RA version <b>- OKG9</b>

- Define assignment -<b> OKGB</b>

4) Create settlement profile - under period end closeing in customization.

HI Vijay,

PP-FICO inteegartion

A.

1. Activity type you have to define in PP area , thse activity handover to FI consultant.

2. FI consultant assign prizing to this activity ,

3. Then you assign this activity in your workcenter

4. Assign <b>cost center</b> in work center , take this cost center from FI

===> From this plaaned cost calculate , formula from work center, values from routings and prize from FI , flow completed.

B.

1. Define valuation varrient in order type dependent parameter i.e opl8 in controlling tab page.- SPRO

2. take this valuation varrient from FI

3. Discuus the REL strategy with FI during costing sheet preaparation with FI

4. Take controlling area from FI

5. Costing varrient , varriance key in order type SPRO

6. Settelement profile

7. Disccus when FI want to calculate actual cost at REl ,

8. If the process is REM- then product cost collector - KKF6N for your proper production version

9. In REM process - product costing CK11N and CK24 monthly.

10.Actual varrient 007 and planned varrient from costing sheet.

11. In control key configurataion costing check box- OP67

Hi,

when a production order is created the planned costs will be calculated automatically by the system.

This planned cost includes Raw material costsproduction costs overhead costs.

During production some scrap would have occured so that our raw mat cost will increase against the standards

During production against the standard time mentioned to produce the material we would have taken some more extra time to finish the product.This brings extra production costs .

So against the standard actuals may differ .

This difference need to be settled called as variance.

Following are necessary for product costing.

Every cost estimate we create is based on the costing variant.

In the costing variant we define the control parameters and settings for costing

Settings contains info such as prices that will be used to cost the materials and activities

Control parameters are used for the automatic determination of of qty str ie Bom and Routing

Every costing variant contains a valuation variant and a costing type , date control , qty str control.

VALUATION VARIANT:

Valuation variant defines the price with which the material and activities are valuated

It determines

1.which price is taken from material master record to calculate the material cost

2.which price is taken from cost center accounting to calculate the costs for internal activities.

3. which price is taken from purchasing info rec to calculate the the costs for ext activities/subcontracting

4. which costing sheet is used to calculate the over head

costs

COSTING TYPE:

costing type defines the valuation view to be costed and defines the purpose of costing.

DATE CONTROL:

controls the validity of the cost estimste , qty str date.

VALUATION CLASS:

For material costing the valuation class controls the cost element to which the planned cost of the material are assigned and the cost element under which the actual costs are updated when the material produced is delivered to stock

VALUATION CATEGORY:

Valuation Category specifies the criteria according to which partial stocks are distinguished from one another.

PRICE CONTROL INDICATOR:

The price control indicator specifies whether the stock of the material is valuated with standard price or moving avg price

COSTING SHEET:

The costing sheet links all the functions for overhead calculation.

In the costing sheet we determine the following

1.The direct costs to which the over head is applied

2.The condition under which the over head is applied

3.Whether the over head is applied as a percentage basis or on a qty basis

4.The amt of overhead percentage

5.The validity period of the over head

6.Which object is credited ( order , cost center) and which cost element in the case of actual posting

We enter the costing sheet in the valuation variant in customising.

PRODUCTION :

We define the standard values thru standard value key.

Standard values are linked to avtivity type in work centercosting tab page.

Activity types are linked to cost centers in work center costing tab page.

To calculate the the cost of the material produced we need to define the formulas in costing tab page of work center.

Create cost center in KL01

Assign the activity type to cost center in kp26.

PP-FI/CO integration is in cost primary cost element,secondary cost element cost center, price plan, activity cost, components related to costing etc.
