Hi

Thanks for ur quick reply.

And these links are really needfull.

But in myDTS(detail technical specification) they given Source systems also. From which we have to extract the data.

so weather i have to install these source systems also from Business content seperately or i have to install it in soource system(CRM / ISU).

one more dought

where we have to check weather installed business content objects sucessfully lnstalled or not.

Thanks & regards

Hi Krishnamurthy,

1)Source systems that are connected to your BW system are automatically shown under the source sytems tab in the AWB.

So no need to install them. Only connectivity matters.

2) installed BI content objects are listed in the modelling tab under the corresponding infoarea.

Hi Naveen

Thanks for ur reply.

i mistakenly mentioned source system instead of datasource.

so we have to install the data sources (EX: 0crm_oppt_h) also in BI system or we have to install it in source system.

where we can check the source systems available r not in BI and in source system.

Thanks & regards

Krishna

Hi Krishna,

Go thru the following link:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/b2/e50138fede083de10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm

For the Customizing extractors option, right click on the source system...

Go to data warehousing work bench(RSA1) click on modeling (by default it will be expanded) double click on source system you will find BI folder.

Under BI folder you will be able to find Source systems..?

Hope this will help you.

Hi,

->Open the AWB (Administrator workbench), transaction RSA1.

-> You will see tabs on the left... click on Business Content, this ll show you all business content objects by area. (ll tak quite some time)

-> Choose the one you have to install.

-> select the Grouping button on the rightmost pane to choose which type you want to install. After and Before ll b ideal... ll install even the reports.

-> And choose install button and install.

-> Done.

  • Reward if useful
