Query attribute on Multiprovider

Hi Experts

I have a multiprovider with 2 infocubes ('A' , 'B') and now I add a new infocube 'C'. All the infocubes has the attribute 'Family Product'.

The query use the hierarchy 'Family Product', and this attribute is setting on all the infocubes in the multiprovider (is active).

The hierarchy is showed ok for the infocube A and B, but not for C

What can I do?

Thank you in advance

When I refresh a query on this multiprovider

      Hi,

when you see it black/blue and you write that you can't activate it, you mean that you're in the MULTIPROVER screen and not the single cubes, correct??

When it is blue it means that this NAV cannot be activated because it is not a NAV in ANY of the single providers included in your multi -> first activate the NAV in your single cubes.

When it is black it means that the NAV is active in at least one of your single cube thus you can activate it.

The next step is to then perform the identification: you have to tell the system how to merge objects together.

Are you sure that your 0PART__ZFAMILY is active in all cubes?

Are you sure it has been identified properly?

      0PART__ZFAMILY v CUBE1	0PART__ZFAMILY
                      v CUBE2	0PART__ZFAMILY
                      v CUBE3	0PART__ZFAMILY

      hope this helps...

      Olivier.

we dont know how ur A B C are connected to each other. having the same IO doesnt necessarily mean that you can join them in multi.

Multi is based on union ... so it doesnt suit you .. you might consider INFOSET(based on join).
