Infotype subtype

I would like to create subtype of 5 digits long for infotype 0015, Would someone please guide me the steps.

I tried creating a subtype on T591a, but it doesn't show on infotype subtype menu.

i have a doubt as IT0015 has wagetypes on subtype could it be possible to create a subtype for employee number.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi you can create a subtype for employee number.

your line :IT0015 has wagetypes on subtype ????

goto sm31 enter v_t591a select maintain

enter your infotype no as 0105

then enter a 4 digit code(char or num) for subtype, text as employee no.

time constraint as required preferably 1.

Hi Banu,

I really doubt whether you would be able to create a subtype with 5 digits since

the standard Subtype Charateristics table is T591A which stores all the subtypes & it has a subtype field of 4 characters .
