Hello,
I have posted an invoice and now i want to change the original payment terms on the invoice but the problem is if i am changing with regular payment terms its working fine but its not allowing me to put installment payment terms.Is there a way to change the payment terms and give new installment payment terms

For installment payments, the system generates more than one line item for your customers. You <b>cannot change</b> the payment terms to installment payment terms for the invoice you have posted.
Try changing the payment terms directly in the invoice document <b>FB70</b> under payment tab. I do not think it will accept you.
The invoice that you posted has to be payed off by using <b>F-28</b> and then the cleared invoice should be resetted by using <b>FBRA</b>; and now you can create a new invoice by giving the installment payment terms.

Hi,
System will not allow to change it to instalment payment method, because in case of instalment payment methos system will generate more than one line item for Customer. As of now there is only one line item for Customer.
Hence, you need to cancel the invoice document > change the payment terms and post a new invoice document.
