Hi All,
Please tell me the difference between XI Administrtion and SAP Basis. As per my knowledge both are used for almost same purpose except one is specific to XI. Please give me links or other details on this question?

Somehow your are right. XI Administration is used specifically for XI however Basis is used for all the stack of Netweaver and SAP components. When basis work is specifically done for XI, then it falls under XI administration.

The work of XI Basis starts from installation of XI server and it inculdes many system related things such as Installing Adapter framework, Maintaining RFC connections, Roles and Authorization, Updating Patches etc....
Check this link on Management of XI and go through it completely. You will ahve clear idea about the role performed by XI Administrator or XI Basis:

Yes, you are correct. Both are used for Systems Administration purpose.
But , difference is also there.
