Hi,
I have created an IBase and I want to create Object ID for each IBase? What are the steps to create the Object ID?
Thanks
Hi
Assign Object Families to iBase Categories
Define characteristics of object families
Create user statuses for the iBase
Set up attributes for other IO families
Cheers
Raj

Hi Vinay,
Object ids are unique instance of a product.
Individual objects are created using UI application.
To create it from UI the steps are:
1. Launch the UI application
2. Choose Create, a pop up will appear asking for the object family
3. Put the details of the Individual object and save.
4. Later yo can add this Individual Object to the Ibase you want.
Please reward points if the above info helps you.

Hi Vinay,
Object ids are unique instance of a product.
Object IDs or individual objects are created using PCUI application.
One can also create them from the install base (IB51) but very few details can be specified.
To create it using Install base, choose an object family (standard is 0401) and put any new or old id in the object id column and click enter.
To create it from PCUI the steps are:
1. Launch the application
2. Choose create/new, a pop up appears asking for the object family (eg.
Equipment)
3. Put the details of the Individual object and save.
WIsh the information is useful, if it is do reward with points.
