Does anybody know with is the best practicies that I need to use in order to activate the 'Bill of Material' (BOM)

Thich function module contain this?

I see this documentacion, and this is about CO-PC Cost Object Controlling

Im not sure if this is what Im looking for (perhaps this is more than I need)

Is there any way to activate only 'Bill of material' ?
