CAT2 transaction

I am trying to do a time recording for one WBS element in CAT2 transaction for a particular employee.

After copying the project element from the worklist to data entry area, I entered the sender cost center and activity type and entered the time. When I try to save, I get the error "Enter activity type only in conjunction with cost center". Please let me know what I am missing.

Hi,

There may be a few reasons to get this message how the system is configured,

1) may be you cannot enter an activity type against WBS element.

2) or only selected activity types are accepted against some cost centres.

Hope this gives some idea.
