Characteristic Relationship in Composite Provider

Hi,

I have created a planning ADSO and a Composite provider on BW 7.5 SP6. How to maintain characteristic relationship and based on composite provider?

Hi Selva,

characteristic relationships are only defined on basis planning InfoProviders. MultiProvider and CompositeProvider automatically know about the characteristic relationships because of the mapping defined there for characteristics and key figures. In other words, this works out of the box, nothing special has to be configured in MultiProviders or CompositeProviders.

In my Composite Provider, I have Fiscal Year Period, Fiscal Year and Posting Period.

In my Aggregation level, I have Fiscal Year Period. Once the data is saved into based on the Fiscal year period, How to get the data populated for Fiscal year and posting period?

Hi Selva,

this also works out of the box because the there exists a 'system characteristic relationship' that is able to derive Posting Period and Fiscal Year from Fiscal Year Period, cf. the documentation:
