Yes I already tried the solutions in that thread so I post this question because I didn't find an answer by searching..
To clarify:
I turned off services Integration Service / Event Sender / DI Proxy Service and Monitor.
I also disconnected Add on Outlook integration. I am still getting the error message

Hi,
please use the option in administration>>utilities>>Connected Clients
if you have closed the sessions from above, then go to services and stop the SAP event sender service.
if you have SQL, then right click on the server name and then select the activity monitor. from there, select the relevant database to see all the connections. Kill all the sessions after confirming that everyone is logged off and no processing is happening.
