Enhancing Infotype to include a custom field in place of Activity(TAETE)

Hi,

We have a requirement in HR system. We need to add a custom field in the infotype-0023 in place of activity(TAETE) field. Whenever we display 0023 infotype that custom field data should be displayed instead of TAETE. and in overview screen also the job field should be displayed as custom field and the data also should come from custome field. We included the custom field ZTLTX(text field) in PS structure, CI include and ZPLIS0023 structure. and we generated all. The custom field is getting displayed in 0023 infotype but it is not displayed in overview screen. Instead it is showing the TAETE value. We are using ECC6.0 system. While generating all it is taking us to BADIs and etc.

If anyone has faced this type of situation, their help is highly appreciated.

Hi,

We have hidden the Activity field using SPRO and we could get the our custom field 'JobTitle' in 0023 infotype screen. When we click on overview button it displays list screen. In that screen,there is a field called 'Job' which is taken from p0023-taete and content comes from T513C-LTEXT. But we want the column heading of Job to be changed to 'JobTitle' and the content should come from p0023-ztltx(custom field).

Yes, the custom field appeared in 200 screen but I am unable to put custome field in overview screen.

Hi,

Check for V_T588M or T588M in SM30 where you have to option to hide fields in standard infotype.

Another suggestion would be to add it to the header - that way it can be displayed even with the overview screen

Welcome to SDN.

Whenever you enhance an Infotype the added fields can only be visible on the subscreen (200) provided in the infotype.

You can use exit to hide the standard field but can't replace it with the added field.
