For SAP ECC customers, Inbound EDI is typically done by translating EDI Messages into IDoc format which the ERP application consumes.
What is the best-practice approach to achieve the same thing when a customer is using HANA Enterprise Cloud ? e.g. to receive ANSI X12 850 (Purchase Order) and generate a sales order in the hosted S/4HANA instance ?
I've heard things like "Use HANA Cloud Integration" and "Check out the Integration Advisor", but nothing specific.
Any recommendations on resources ?
