Hi all,
What is the Application JCo connection and Metadata Jco connection?
What is the Difference Between the Application and Metadata jco connections?
Why LogonTicket methos is not suitable for Metadata connections in Jco's?
Thanks and Regards,
Phanikumar.
Hi Kumar,
Application JCo connection - The application gets the application data from the this destination.
Metadata Jco connection - The application gets metadata from the this connection. When defining JCo destinations for metadata, you may only use authentication method User/Password.

Hi kumar,
Application Data: The application data of say, database instance are all the rows of all base tables and all the index entries created for the base tables.
Metadata: Metadata is the data about the application data, example are the properties of the application data which describes about the data.
Metadata JCo destination always looks for a change in the structure of the data in the RFC if any happens this will automatically update the model.
