    Hello,

There is a SAP standard enhancement for validation of GL master record: SAPMF02H - Function exit: G/L account master data (transactions SMOD, CMOD). Try with it and implement your own logic for validation of the GL master record.

    Hi,

in the same company code, GL account with same number cannot be created. The system will throw a message stating, GL account already exists. Ask user for the account details.

    Hi,

According to me, the text is not the ideal parameter for control. What we can do is the user declipine. The creation of GL Account should be a centralised function wherein the person not only creates the GL Account, but also check and update the different groups used for reporting, if any.

Hope this helps, if yes, please assign points.

    Regards,

    Harish
