BI AddOn in SAP GUI 6.40 Grayed out

Hi Guys

I am installing SAP GUI 6.40 in my system. All options including BW AddOn are fine. But BI AddOn is grayed out. I think this is the reason BEx Analyzer, WAD, Report Designer in Business Explorer folder are not working. ( I tried before and now I am reinstalling 6.4)

I have .NET framework 2.0

JDK 6 installed.

Can somebody tell me if I can install BI AddOn separately. Or is there a different problem? While running WAD i am getting error RSBOLAP Message 018: java system error...portal communication error.

First I removed .NET 2.0, removed it and installed 1.1. That didnt work. Now I switched back to .NET 2.0 as I was told its necessary for SAP GUI 6.40

Can somebody tell me how can I make BEx Analyzer, WAD work in BI 7/SAP GUI 6.4?

What Service pack is currently installed for ur BI system........

SP12 will work fine with out isssues..........

I have the following patches installed in addition to SAP GUI 6.40

ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sapgui/win/640/patches/

I think for BW7 its SP13 and for BW3.5 its 12.

It is also greyed out if you do not have the .net framework on your PC, search for it on net (microsoft site) and install and try again with frontendsetupadd components.

Ignore this message, I see that you do have the .net framework already.
